Yesterday (08/16/16) I received a really nice shadow box, certificate of purchase and a thank you card in the mail for the 2016 FLSTC I bought from Columbia HD last month.
That got me thinking. Over the past 20 years, I have purchased 5 of the 6 Harleys I've owned from Columbia. Each and every time, I have gotten quality bikes (new and used) and was treated with the utmost respect. Your staff is top notch! All of them in every department! Because of that, I got to thinking that I should be the one thanking you for everything your business has done for me.
All to often, we are too quick to criticize a business and a little short on the compliments when a business goes above and beyond to take care of their customers. Well, this is my opportunity to do just that.
After this long I don't think its necessary to say, but keep up the good work.
Buy the way, the 6th Harley, the only reason I didn't buy it from you was because of the factory shortage in 2005 and there was a several month back order on new bikes. Unfortunately I had to get it from another dealer on the other side of the river where your just another face and another sale.
Please feel free to post this on your bulletin board so that everyone can read it and if they are a new customer, they'll know what to expect.
- This is very late, but i've been very busy here on the East Coast. I would like to commend your service dept for excellent repairs and service i received on my 2010 electraglide last fall. My wife and i were able to make a trip from Portland to Jacksonville,Fl leaving Portland 1 oct., our trip took us down the Oregon coast and the redwood national forest in Calli, tour of San Fran, Vegas, Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, and even Tombstone. The bike ran like a swiss clock. Lost a heel shifter in West Texas, but that ain't bad for 3600 miles. Thanks again, they were able to pinpoint a failing drive bearing in my tranny and fix like new. It was my bucket list trip, but just made me want to go again. Gary L.
- The Service Dept. at Columbia H-D is top notch! Always willing to help and answer my questions. Most recently with troubleshooting my stereo system blown speakers. Stu & Lenny checked out my bike, gave me options that are available in a very short time. Also BEAT labor cost of the install of speakers by a local stereo shop. Thanks for everything.
